EPC-UK Webinars

Delivering industry leading training to a screen near you.

Learning. Live.
Our Institute of Quarrying accredited Lifelong Learning Live courses are being delivered ‘virtually’ by our experienced industry experts. Catering for up to 20 participants, each webinar is completely interactive, giving you the opportunity to ask questions, participate in debates and initiate discussions with the instructor and your fellow course attendees.

Freedom learning
All courses are broken down into several modules which will be taught over a six-week period. Each module is presented twice a week, providing you with two separate opportunities to experience the webinar ‘live’. All modules are also recorded, and you will receive access to these recordings for up to 30 days after they have been presented ‘live’ – giving you the freedom to fit your learning around work and family commitments.
Your pace. Your environment. Your future
Regardless of specialism, level or location, these Lifelong Learning Live webinars allow you to work towards your CPD, advance your knowledge and prepare for a successful future at your own pace.
Live interaction with peers and industry experts will provide you with real time insights into our industry, whilst webinar recordings will enable you to study at a time that is most productive for you.
Watch how it works…
Learn more about our Lifelong Learning ‘Live’ programme from Dr Rob Farnfield, head of explosives at EPC-UK, as he outlines the structure of the webinar courses, explains how they will be delivered and provides a taste of the educational content included.
Your goals
There is also the opportunity to study individual modules, rather than entire courses, providing you with even more flexibility and enabling you to create an educational path that is truly tailored to your future goals.
Learning without limits
We want to ensure that you can continue your training and develop your career regardless of your location or situation – and our Lifelong Learning Live Webinars will enable you to do just that. They will provide you with the flexibility to be able to maintain your educational journey and the expertise to succeed.

Our modular courses
Each course is specifically designed to combine periods of formal teaching with extensive application experience and case studies. Full course notes are provided for all participants and in many cases, include a site visit. Modular courses and assessments can lead to the explosives Supervisor Qualification. The full training course is composed of 4 modules: Quarry Shotfiring, Blast Calculation and Design, Environmental Control and Safety and Legislation.
