Training Terms and Conditions

1. Intellectual Property

  • Unless otherwise stated, EPC-UK owns copyright for the content presented in the webinar/training courses. On occasions the copyright for the contents on this website may be owned by individual presenters and is included on our website under a licence or agreement. Webinar/training events and recordings are to be viewed by the registrant only; the contents must under no circumstances be recorded or reproduced.
  • A copy of the webinar/training presentation will be available before each webinar/training event after registration and is for personal/non-commercial use only. The contents must not be modified or republished in any way without the prior consent of EPC-UK.
  • If you seek to reproduce or otherwise use the content in any way, it is your responsibility to obtain the appropriate approval for such use.  Any breach of copyright, including the recording of a presentation or any unauthorised use of the material may lead to legal action.

 

2. Learning Outcomes

  • EPC-UK is not liable for the detailed content of any webinar/training, quality of presentation or if the learning event did not entirely meet personal expectations.
  • EPC-UK is not responsible for the standard of examinations produced and delivered by MPQC nor any outcome of the examination results. Any issues with the results or payment for examinations must be directed at MPQC.
  • EPC-UK will provide an accredited CPC certification upon completion of the required course when stated.

 

3. Links from the webinar/training

  • Webinars/training may contain links to other websites over which EPC-UK has no control. EPC-UK makes no representations about the accuracy of information contained on those websites and are not liable for the content on those websites.

 

4. Registrations

  • By registering for a webinar/training, consent is given for application details to be provided to ZOOM where required to set up the webinar/training. You can view ZOOM policies on their website here.
  • By registering for a webinar/training, consent is given for application details to be provided possibly to 3rd Parties for Accreditation and Audit purposes only.
  • By registering for a webinar/training you confirm that you are not a prohibited person under The Explosive Regulations 2014 and allowed to participate.

 

5. Cancellation

  • Registration for a webinar/training event may be cancelled up to fifteen working days prior to the event. If for any reason the presentation is required to be cancelled by EPC-UK, a notification email will be sent as soon as possible.
  • In the event of a cancellation of booking, a refund of fees will be made for written cancellations received at least fifteen working days before the start of the course. After which no refunds can be made. Substitute candidates can be accepted at any time prior to the start of a webinar/training event.

 

6. Webinars are recorded

  • The virtual event facility includes a feature that allows audio, any documents and other materials exchanged or viewed during the session to be recorded. By joining a session, you automatically consent to such recordings. If you do not consent to the recording, please contact EPC-UK to discuss your concerns in good time prior to the web-event date.
  • Web-event participation may require you to configure your software settings on your web-device upon first use, or require you to download the software for your operating system. Software can be manually downloaded by visiting the ZOOM Webinar support page. Please note that you may require administrator privileges on your computer to be able to manually install software.

 

7. Webinar/training materials

  • The webinar/training presenter may provide reference materials for your use during or after the webinar/training. These may include (but are not limited to) the following:
  • a workbook
  • a copy of the webinar/training slides
  • a video and or media file
  • a questionnaire
  • a feedback form
  • sample documents,
  • templates or other material for use during the webinar/training

 

8. Protected Characteristics

  • EPC-UK will take every effort to enable access to our training courses, and materials for those with protected characteristics. EPC-UK cannot guarantee access in all cases.
  • EPC-UK must be informed within a reasonable time frame before the course of any protected characteristics that will affect your ability and the learning outcome. Failure to do so may mean you are unable to attend.

 

9. Sustenance

  • EPC-UK classroom courses run from our Learning and Development Centre provide food and drink where advised.
  • If you are to attend a classroom course at our Learning and Development Centre, you must inform Learning@epc-groupe.co.uk of any dietary requirements or allergies at the latest 5 days before the course start date. Failure to do so could mean we cannot provide sustenance, or guarantee an allergy free environment.
  • All sustenance Is provided by 3rd Parties and delivered on site at the required times. EPC-UK is not responsible for any inaccuracies on ingrediency provided by the 3rd Party.

 

10. Payment

  • Learner registrations/bookings can currently be paid using the below methods:

 

PayPal

  • When processing payment using PayPal, you will be using their secure server. Payments are processed by PayPal and not by EPC-UK.
  • Payment via this route is preferred and will confirm your booking on the chosen course immediately.

 

Bank Transfer (BACS or CHAPS)

  • If you wish to pay using a Bank Transfer (BACS or CHAPS), then you need to contact EPC-UK directly on Learning@epc-groupe.co.uk. Details can then be sent directly on how to place payment for your booking.
  • Payment via this route will not confirm your space on the course until Payment is received in full. Customers should send Proof of Payment to Learning@epc-groupe.co.uk

 

Purchase Order

  • If you wish to pay using a Purchase Order/Invoice, then you need to contact EPC-UK directly on Learning@epc-groupe.co.uk. Details can then be sent directly on how to place payment for your booking.
  • Payment via this route will not confirm your space on the course until Payment is received in full. Customers should send Proof of Payment to Learning@epc-groupe.co.uk
