Unlocking Value with Precision

EPC ROG+ (Rock on Ground Plus), is EPC-UK’s next iteration of accurate blasting servicing to improve the entire value chain from face-to-gate or mine-to-mill. Customers choose only the service elements they need to support equipment and tools already on site to streamline costs, operations and enable greener credentials.

Application

ROG+ involves measuring blast impact via a continual, feedback loop using site data gathered and engineer expertise to assess overall downstream activity and value. Information gained is fed back into the next blast design and adjustments are made to further optimise operations.

EPC-UK have created a suite of tools, techniques & technology to assess performance, measure optimisation & report digitally the data coming from the entire value chain via advanced, real-time KPI dashboard visuals.

Advantages

1.

Greater optimisation improves loading, hauling, fuel usage and crushing.

2.

More effective choices can be made regarding explosives used, detonators, initiation timings, top and bottom priming and blasting parameters tailored to the geology and desired outcomes.

3.

Improved performance reduces carbon outputs, from fuel usage reduction to recycled oils and ‘green’ ammonium nitrate alternatives.
