Level 3 Diploma in Shotfiring for the Extractive and Minerals Processing Industries
Duration: 12 weeks | Classroom based
Audience: Experienced Shotfirers
Designed for those individuals who need to show they have the skills, knowledge and understanding to demonstrate competence for Shotfiring Operations, primarily in quarrying.
Level 5 Diploma in Shotfiring Supervision for the Extractive and Minerals Processing Industries
Duration: 16 weeks | Classroom based
Audience: Experienced Shotfiring Supervisors
This qualification is designed for individuals who need to demonstrate competence in supervising Blasting Operations, specifically to meet the current legislative requirements and guidance for the role of Explosive Supervisor.
Level 5 Certificate in Blast Design for the Extractive and Minerals Processing Industries
Duration: 16 weeks | Classroom based
Audience: Experienced Blast Designers
Designed for those individuals who need to show they have the skills and understanding to demonstrate competence for Blast Design in the Extractive, Minerals Processing and Related Manufacturing Industries.
Level 2 Certificate in Face Profiling for the Extractive and Minerals Processing Industries
Duration: 12 weeks | Classroom based
Audience: Experienced Face Profilers
This qualification provides recognition of the skills, knowledge and competence of individuals operating in the Extractive, Mineral Processing and Related Manufacturing Industries, specifically in Face Profiling.
Level 2 Award in Explosives Storage for the Extractive and Minerals Processing Industries
Duration: 12 weeks | Classroom based
Audience: Experienced Explosives Storage Personal
This qualification is designed for those individuals who need to demonstrate competence for the storage of explosives in the Extractive, Mineral Processing and Related Manufacturing Industries.
Level 3 Certificate in Bulk Explosive Truck Operations
Duration: 13 weeks | Classroom based
Audience: Experienced Bulk Explosive Truck Operators
This qualification applies to all blasting operational situations where the constituent components are transported in bulk and then mixed within a blast hole. It measures the skills, knowledge and understanding to demonstrate competence in operating bulk explosive trucks.
Level 2 Diploma in Drilling Operations
Duration: 12 weeks+C38 | Classroom based
Audience: Experienced Drilling Operators
This qualification is specifically designed for those individuals involved in the operation of a wide range of drilling equipment across a range of drilling environments. There are a series of pathways that cover specific activities/roles for Extractives Drilling, Directional Drilling and Land Drilling.
