EPC Energetics technicians are a highly skilled team of sector professionals with the knowledge and capability to perform energetics operations with exceptional safety competence.
Their comprehensive understanding of the technicalities involved in safely assembling, storing, transporting and disposing of hazardous products and materials is unparalleled. Our technical operations and distribution processes are managed from EPC-UK’s controlled, Upper Tier COMAH site and logistics hub in Alfreton, Derbyshire, and our Lower Tier COMAH site, logistics hub and international shipping dock in Bramble Island, Essex.

By drawing on a strong and transparent contact network, we can also supply, store and deliver a comprehensive range of explosive products and accessories. We work across all market sectors and utilise our expert logistics and storage capabilities to perform as a highly effective sole supplier.
Our sector experience is extensive, and our highly trained teams can support a range of specific explosive processing, assembly, integration, re-work and re-life projects. From conception to completion, we collaborate with customers and develop our teams’ skills to produce detailed procedures and safe systems of work that meet both regulatory and quality requirements.
With licenced firing and burning areas located at our Great Oakley, Bramble Island site, EPC-UK can safely package, store and dispose of unwanted pyrotechnics and explosives. This expertise also enables us to offer training and guidance to support customers’ disposal and demilitarisation activities.
We have the expertise to provide reliant organisations with a highly specialist service. Pyrotechnic disposal is an area in which we afford full competency, through a team that demonstrates trust, innovation, integrity and security competencies to assure a completely effective and reliable result.
The licenced explosives range and firing and burning areas we operate can be used to safely perform specialist testing, training and demonstration activities. Our explosive processing buildings are also available for hire and can accommodate operations relevant to various assembly, re-work and re-life projects.
EPC-UK’s controlled locations safely provide licenced, secure storage for explosives, section 5 and protectively marked goods. Furthermore, EPC-UK holds Civil Aviation Authority Registered Agent (RA) status, which permits us to store and handle secure cargo intended for onward air freight from Known Consignors (KC). In addition, we hold customs authorisation at our specialist site, which can be utilised by customers importing explosives who may wish to postpone duties and improve cashflow.
