New year, new appointment for Head of Supply Chain, Lakhy Dhillon

Jan 29, 2024

This year, EPC-UK’s former Financial Controller, Lakhy Dhillon will be taking on a new role within the company’s Senior Leadership Team, as from 1st January 2024 she fulfils the post of Head of Supply Chain. We’re delighted for Lakhy, who has worked for EPC-UK for ten years now and is a worthy appointment for this senior role.

Proven ability

In preparation for the post, Lakhy began performing elements of the Head of Supply Chain position during the final quarter of 2023, following her significant success in overseeing our company migration from using the SYSPRO ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software system to the Sage X3 enterprise management solution, through a venture called Project Foxtrot.

As part of her new senior position, Lakhy will oversee EPC-UK’s wholesale and export sales and take responsibility for our national and international procurement and logistical processes.

The company and industry knowledge she’s gained from her decade with the team will give Lakhy a strong advantage in the new post, and her experience of working in finance will prove useful as she negotiates and finalises contracts.

A culture of encouragement

“I’m excited about meeting the challenges of the new role and am looking forward to exploring sustainable and economical solutions for EPC-UK’s import and export operations,” Lakhy says. “This opportunity has made me feel empowered and supported by the senior team, as it’s an acknowledgement that my skills and aptitudes continue to be valued, recognised and rewarded by EPC-UK.”

Adding comment, EPC-UK’s Managing Director, Ben Williams said: “I am very pleased to welcome Lakhy to the EPC-UK Senior Leadership Team where her perspective and competencies will further support us during a transformational period for the company.”

Enabling change

“Over the next 36 months, EPC-UK’s ‘Beyond 2020 Strategy’ will progress numerous significant projects intended to drive change,” Ben adds. “The project management skills Lakhy demonstrated in heading up the Project Foxtrot implementation more than proved her capabilities, and I have every confidence that those skills will continue to enable our team as she grows professionally and personally in her new role, encouraged by our support and through EPC-UK’s culture of trust.”
