EPC-UK is a market-leading provider of blasting and commercial explosives related training courses, delivered in a classroom environment or via online webinar. We support professionals across a diverse range of industry sectors, with courses from Explosives Awareness and Environmental Management to Shotfiring and Explosives Legislation.

Utilising the latest explosives technology, our trainers have many years of industry experience and knowledge, all of which is distilled into our comprehensive training courses, both bespoke and modular.  

Our courses are specifically designed to develop understanding and good practice on-site, with a focus on day-to-day operations, and contribute directly to the ongoing training and professional advancement of the industry and individuals.

Our modular courses

Each course is specifically designed to combine periods of formal teaching with extensive application experience and case studies. Full course notes are provided for all participants and in many cases, include a site visit. Modular courses and assessments can lead to the explosives Supervisor Qualification. The full training course is composed of 4 modules: Quarry Shotfiring, Blast Calculation and Design, Environmental Control and Safety and Legislation. Bespoke courses can be planned for customers’ specific requirements on any blasting and related topics.
