Permitted explosives

Permitted explosives are designed primarily for use in coal mines, where the presence of explosives gases and dust represents a serious blasting hazard.

All permitted explosives must pass a stringent series of tests before being approved for use underground in a coalmine. These products contain a flame depressant additive which reduces the volume, duration and temperature of the explosion's flame. As a result, permitted explosives are less energetic than other explosives and have a lower rock breaking capability.

The classification of Seguridad is UN 0081 and hazard class / compatibility group is 1.1D.
