Disposal & Demilitarisation
EDSL has many years experience in the transportation and disposal of explosive
natures and articles.
Our wide knowledge and technical understanding of both military and civil sector explosives provides the expertise to destroy everything from simple bulk explosives to difficult mixed consignments in complete safety.
EDSL are teamed with NAMMO (Demil Division) A/S for the provision of demilitarisation services to the UK MoD and have a proven track record in managing successful transport and disposal programs.
Disposal sites are located in:
Harwich (UK)
Vingaker (Sweden)
Lokken Verk (Norway)
Storkow (Germany)
These sites are all linked by sea routes (directly from our UK dock) and offer an unequalled
range of disposal facilities with a high emphasis on recovering all reusable materials.

Facilities exist for disposal by burning or detonation at our UK site. EDSL are able to arrange the collection and disposal of all class 1 natures and articles, from pyrotechnics up to large complex weapons systems. Facilities exist for disposal by burning or detonation at our UK site, which also has licensed buildings suitable for re-configuration or disassembly.
All recycling services are provided by the NAMMO locations in Germany and Scandinavia.
