EDSL (as part of the EPC UK Group) operates a number of top tier COMAH sites
throughout the UK.
With over a century of experience in the manufacture, handling, storage and transportation
of explosives, EDSL is unequalled in its ability to deliver a safe and secure logistics
solution.
EDSL are also able to transport and store section 5 and protectively marked articles.
Process buildings are available for the re-packaging and marking of articles and a
Customs Bonded Warehouse facility is also operated at our Bramble Island site.
Overnight and short term stabling of containers is also available at some of our sites
throughout the UK.
EDSL has retained many of the facilities from nearly a century of history in the handling and storage of explosives and is today ideally placed to offer a service for the integration, loading and storage of a wide variety of weapon systems and their associated hardware.
Based on a remote 1200 acre site close to the international ports of Felixstowe and Harwich EDSL is licensed under the Explosives Act of 1875 & 1923. The site has an explosive storage capacity approaching 600 tonnes NEQ (Net Explosive Quantity) of which three quarters is in alarmed storage facilities.
With its own licensed dock, EDSL also provides facilities for the transfer of weapons, munitions and other explosive goods into local storage or for onward shipment.
