EPC-UK 2-ethyl hexyl nitrate is used throughout the world as a Cetane Number Improver in diesel fuel.

As well as significant improvement in emission and performance the addition of 2EHN to refinery blends can allow fuel oil to be upgraded to higher value diesel. We work with a variety of additive companies and can offer package solutions and technical service for refinery / fuel formulators.

EPC-UK expertise in continuous nitration and bi-product reuse has enabled us to develop a secure and cost effective route to 2EHN.

We have capacity to produce over 30,000 MT/Year making us the 2nd largest producer in Europe, Being close to the ports of Harwich, Felixstowe and London with stocks provided in partner tanks in strategic: European, North and South American locations allows us to offer excellent logistic solutions for our customers. Drum and blend options are supplied to customers across the globe.
